Guaranteed two days off per week.

We are looking for a professional line cook to prepare food to our specifications and to set up stations for our menu. Menus change frequently based on product availability and collaboration with kitchen staff, owners and head chef. Line cook duties consist of prep, keeping an organized station and cooking and plating food in an appealing and timely manner. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our overall customer satisfaction. We are often very busy, keep a small but quality staff, get our butts kicked for three solid hours a night, clean up and wash it down with a cold beer at the end of the night. *Responsibilities*

* Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
* Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
* Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
* Answer, report and follow instructions
* Clean up station and take care of leftover food
* Stock inventory appropriately
* Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
* Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
* Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

*Skills*

* Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook
* Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
* Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
* Familiar with industry’s best practices

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

* High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:
* Cooks: 1 year (Preferred)
* Restaurant experience: 1 year (Preferred)

* Charlotte, VT 05445: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Willingness to travel:
* 25% (Preferred)
